Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 27, 2026
Taptivais operated by Flare IT Solutions LLC (“Flare IT Solutions,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect through Taptiva(the “Service”), how we use it, and the choices available to you.
1. Information we collect
Business account holders. When your business is set up on Taptiva, or when you're invited to manage it, we collect your name, email address, and password (handled by our authentication provider, Supabase — we never see or store your password in plain text). We also store the business information you enter: business name, address, phone number, hours, images, payment methods accepted, social media links, and — if you choose to display it to customers — your Wi-Fi network name and password.
Public menu visitors.People who scan your QR code, tap your NFC tag, or view your public menu don't create an account and don't provide us any personal information. We record anonymous, aggregate usage data for each view or tap — timestamp, device type (e.g. mobile or desktop), and the referring page if any — so business owners can see basic analytics. We don't use tracking cookies or build profiles of individual visitors, and we have no way to identify who a particular visitor is.
Payment information. Subscription payments are processed entirely by Stripe. We receive confirmation that a payment succeeded or failed, and basic billing metadata (plan, renewal date) — we never receive or store your full card number.
2. How we use information
We use the information above to:
- Operate and maintain the Service, including your dashboard and public menu page
- Process subscription payments and manage billing
- Provide the analytics shown in your dashboard
- Respond to support requests and account-related communications
- Maintain the security of the Service and detect misuse
We don't sell your information or your business's information to anyone.
3. Who we share information with
We share information only with the service providers that help us run Taptiva, each acting on our behalf:
- Supabase — database hosting, authentication, and file storage
- Stripe — subscription billing and payment processing
- Vercel — application hosting
- Sentry — error monitoring, to help us catch and fix bugs
We may also disclose information if required by law, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of Flare IT Solutions, our customers, or others.
4. Data retention
We keep your business's data for as long as your account is active. If you close your account or request deletion (available from Account Settings in the dashboard, or by emailing us), we'll remove your data within a reasonable period, except where we're required to retain it for legal, tax, or accounting reasons.
5. Data security
We use industry-standard practices to protect your information, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) and database-level access controls that restrict each business's data to its own account. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, so we can't guarantee absolute security.
6. Your rights and choices
You can review and update most of your business's information directly from the dashboard at any time. You can request a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, or request deletion by emailing goncalo@flareitsolutions.com. Depending on where you're located, you may have additional rights under local privacy law — contact us and we'll do our best to help.
7. Children's privacy
Taptivais a business tool and isn't directed at children. We don't knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll make reasonable efforts to notify account holders. The “last updated” date above reflects the most recent revision.
